Day Rate 50$ (1 day)
Weekly Rate $325 (7 days)
Monthly Rate $870 (30+ days)
+ Monthly utilities (to be paid at the end of each month)

Long weekends – minimum 3-night stay is required – no refund for cancellation

July & August – minimum 7-night stay may be required. – As the months approach the minimum stay requirement will be reduced. Check the online booking system for availability & requirements. 

Each campsite includes a firepit, picnic table, Wi-Fi, access to the on-site bathroom, and coin-operated showers.

CHECKOUT TIME 12:00 pm. Please re-register online or at the office by 11:00 am to extend your stay. Any past check-out time is subject to a day’s stay.

11:00 p.m.-8:00 a.m. is quiet time.
During quiet time, all stereos must be turned off and voices kept to a minimum.
The use of foul language and unlawful behaviour will not be tolerated.

• Attend to all fires – put out your fire if it will be left unattended. 
• Please do not place BBQs directly on picnic tables as they may burn the tabletop. 
• Open fires are permitted in designated fire pits only.
• Do not leave garbage or burn garbage in the fire pit.
• Firewood is available for purchase at the office. Please call to order wood (availability is dependent on when owner is home) and at a decent time when requesting firewood.
• Please abide by the Yellowhead County and Town of Edson fire regulations.

Bathrooms are located between site 2 and site 3.

Since most RVs have washrooms, the washroom facilities are always locked and will be accessed with a key from the owner or camp manager only.
Guests will be given the key upon request.
Please treat the shower and washroom with care and keep them clean for the next person using them.
Ensure your shower curtain is tucked into the shower to prevent excess water from getting on the floor. Consider leaving your shoes outside the personal shower room to help keep the floor clean.

Refunds can only be issued for the following:

  • A refund can only be issued before check-in if paid with a 3 days notice (via email) before check-in. 
  • If a reservation has been paid for a monthly stay, a refund may be issued if a camper provides an earlier notice of their original departure date and the new departure date are more than seven days. (For monthly rate payments only) 
  • Refunds and credits will not be issued (for the following but not limited to) unfavourable weather, RV/vehicle repairs, failure to show up, early departures, personal matters, or if guests are asked to leave for not following campground rules and regulations.

One unit, one small tent and up to 2 vehicles are permitted per site.

Bag all garbage and place it in the dumpster located beside the big shop.
Please recycle your bottles (bin on site) and ensure all cigarette butts are properly disposed of.
Airtight sewer connections must be used to prevent odors.
Please keep sites clean and tidy at all times.

All visitors and family members are the responsibility of the Registered Camper. Please review the Northwood Rules and Regulations.
Visitors not staying with the Registered Camper are required to leave the Park before quiet time 11 pm.
There is a Zero Tolerance Policy for loud noise, parties, etc. after 11 pm. Management reserves the right to evict any registered camper, guest or family member, without refund or compensation if deemed necessary for continued non-compliance.

Possession or use of weapons is always prohibited on Northwood Acres Property. Campers will be asked to leave immediately if found to violate this policy. 

This property is privately owned. The Camper is responsible for their RV unit and vehicle parked on their site. The management is not responsible for loss or damages incurred on the property. Any damages in and around the camping facilities will be charged to the registered camper or guest of the camper and the registered camper can be asked to vacate the premises. Our location is perfect for accommodating short and long-term workers and campers in our busy town of Edson. With year-round camping stalls, we take care of snow removal and have firewood for purchase ($8 bundle).

Just as we are pleased to welcome you to Northwood Acres Campground, we are just as pleased to let you know that our vision for this campground is for all our visitors to have a place of tranquillity and relaxation as we accommodate campers who have a long stay and are choosing our Campground as their temporary home while they work. We want to promote respect and peace and for all to have a positive experience, but certainly not at the expense of others. Firstly, we request that mutual respect is paramount, so please take time to discuss possible problems with each other before resorting to this Grievance Procedure. Use this tool to assist you if you experience any issues that conflict with the common rules and regulations, resulting in discontent. Thank you.

1. The person making the complaint is requested to submit such a complaint and suggested outcome in writing to Management.

2. Management will review the complaint and determine whether the matter is to be discussed with the alleged Registered Camper. The Names of the complainant will remain confidential.

3. If Management determines the complaint requires action, a verbal warning will be issued to the alleged Registered Camper.

4. If the complaint is not resolved and the issue continues, a written warning will be delivered. At this time, there may be costs incurred by the Campground Owner, such as removal of debris or yard clean up, which could be charged to the registered camper.

5. If the issue continues, the Registered Camper will be required to remove their RV and personal effects within a specified time frame. Failure to remove belongings may result in towing and miscellaneous expenses that will be billed to the Registered Camper.

*Please Note: No Refund or Compensation will be issued for policy violation resulting in costs incurred by the offending Registered Camper.
